High-Power Glan-Laser Polarizers |
P/N: | PGL Series |
Introduction: | Glan-Laser Calcite Polarizer is made of select portions of the calcite crystal, making it an appropriate choice for high energy laser applications. They provide extremely pure linear polarization (100,000:1). Two polished side ports are provided to allow bi-directional use of the polarizer. The input and output faces are polished to a laser quality 20-10 scratch and dig surface finish to minimize scattering of the transmitted P polarization component of the laser beam or light field. The S polarization component is reflected through a 68-Deg angle and exits the polarizer through one of the two side ports, which are pad polished. Glan-Laser Polarizer is suitable for high power applications. |

Glan-Taylor Polarizers |
P/N: | PGT Series |
Introduction: | Glan-Taylor Polarizers offer extremely pure linear polarization with an extinction ratio greater than 100,000:1 and are meant for use with laser beams in the 350nm-2.3μm wavelength range. The S Polarization component is reflected through a 68-Deg angle and exits the polarizer through one of the side ports. The P Polarization passes straight through the polarizer. |

Wollaston Polarizers |
P/N: | PWT Series |
Introduction: | The Wollaston Prism offers the widest deviation angle of beam displacing polarizers. Both output beams are deviated symmetrically to within 1-Deg. Since the output deviations are chromatic, Wollaston prisms have been used in spectrometers as well as polarization analyzers. The Wollaston prism polarizer is made of two calcite prisms cemented together. |
