Introduction:
Cr: Er: Glass Laser Rods Mainly used for 1540nm eye-safe laser applications.

Er:Yb Glass Laser has recieved widespread interest and attention since its inception, mainly due to the 1540nm laser generation. 1540nm Laser is now used in various applications in the medical, industrial and research fields, attributed to the 1540nm laser characteristics, such as high atmospheric transparency/permeablility, low absorption levels especially in organic compounds with -OH groups. Being considered as eye-safe Laser, 1540nm laser is very relevant in the medical research field.
