Introduction:
To meet a variety of different market demands, SCHOTT offers its
well-known B 270; crown glass in sheet glass form.
B 270, manufactured by the up-draw method, offers high stability
with respect to solarization in combination with high transmission in the
visible wavelength range. It has a fire-polished surface and high
chemical stability.For optical substrate application (e.g. mirror coating, filter coating and AR coating), we make the fine polish on double surface to achieve 40-20 S/D and certain surface flatness and parallelism.
